Tackling Racial Inequalities Launch

As part of our Tackling Racial Inequalities (TRIF) programme, The Network will hold three thematic review events in September and October, bringing together past beneficiaries and advocates of the programme to review progress and share personal experiences through presentations and focus group discussions. The outcomes of these activities will form part of the programme evaluation.

Events will run on the following dates from 2:30-5:30pm followed by an optional drinks and buffet reception, seminar and networking until 8:30pm:

  • Bradford - 23rd September 2010
  • Birmingham - 30th September 2010
  • Bristol - 1st October 2010

Who should attend?

All past beneficiaries of TRIF programmes as well as colleagues working in public sector, voluntary sector and learning and skills sector organisations are invited to attend. Colleagues who have participated in Black Leadership Initiative programmes in the last five years are also welcome.

Why attend?

  • Contribute to the evaluation of the TRIF programmes and help capture impact
  • Showcase your organisation’s good practice through case study opportunities
  • Take advantage of valuable opportunities to network across organisations
  • Discover new customised services and subsidised development opportunities

Is there a fee?

There is no charge for this positive action event. It attracts a 100% subsidy through Department of Communities and Local Government (CLG). However, there will be a charge for cancellations made less than 7 working days before the event.
