The Association of Colleges (AoC) Annual Conference, the flagship event of the further education sector will take place this year from the 17th - 19th November at the ICC, Birmingham. The Conference will tackle the big issues currently facing the sector and offers a great opportunity to share views about the recession, recovery strategies and to consider how education, skills and training can help the nation through to recovery.
The AoC’s Annual Conference is the biggest and most significant gathering of sector intelligence. The 2008 conference has just been awarded the CBI Trade Association Conference of the Year and this year’s event is already shaping up to match last year’s success, with high quality speakers from the sector and beyond ranging from a workshop on leadership by Dame Kelly Holmes to an opening address from the Rt. Hon Lord Mandelson. Delegates will be rewarded with challenging and innovative thinking, new ideas, tangible solutions and best practice strategies that you can take back to your organisation.
The Network for Black Professional’s Annual Meeting will take place within the event at 2pm on 17th November and through the generous support of the AoC, the Network has been given 50 free places for the first day of the conference.
The Network’s Annual Dinner will be held on the same evening and is the most popular and well attended fringe event at the conference. The Annual Dinner provides an excellent networking opportunity and a warm welcome is extended to our friends and supporters.
