You should hold MCIOB, MRICS or equivalent qualifications and ideally will have experience of project management in the Further Education sector. You will require strong interpersonal skills and a range of communication techniques to support the process of change, engaging with staff and stakeholders in developing new business processes for facilities management. Your capabilities as a strategic thinker will be used to develop whole College solutions that maximise the estate as an asset and provide the widest possible learning opportunities for people in Medway and Maidstone.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced disability practitioner who would welcome the opportunity to have a real impact on the shape of provision across a complex institution. University disability services have recently been reviewed and you will work with staff at all levels overseeing the development a coherent university-wide approach to provision.
You will manage the central disability team and develop service level agreements, clarifying central and college responsibilities in respect of provision to student with disabilities. You will provide consultancy to the university on disability related matters and be an active member of key university committees. You will also be expected to provide direct disability support to students.
Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will have applied knowledge and training in disability issues and the Disability Discrimination Act and substantial disability related experience in the public and/or HE/FE sector. Proven ability to lead and manage a team, make critical assessments of problems, assessing possible outcomes and to lead and develop internal networks are essential. Excellent interpersonal, IT and communication skills are also required.
