Title:
Career Development Workshop: Understanding Yourself and Realising Your Full Potential

Aims:
To support Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) staff in the Learning & Skills Sector to enhance their career and employment prospects.

Objectives:
By the end of the workshop participants will have:

  • Identified their ‘personality type indicator’ preference and what this means for their career and their relationship with others.
  • Maximised their potential through the development of a personal marketing strategy.
  • Identified personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in relation to their career development.
  • Begun the process of identifying a career development plan.

  • Looking for a new job?
  • Reapplying for your existing job?
  • Being redeployed within your organisation
  • Moving up the organisational ladder?
  • Having to re-skill?
  • Changing careers?
