Catalyst
The Catalyst programme is providing free staff recruitment and development support for further education colleges, work based learning and adult and community learning organisations in England. Working with the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), the Catalyst programme focuses on enabling recruitment of high calibre managerial staff and vocationally skilled teaching staff in skills shortage areas, whilst also supporting existing staff by facilitating and supporting vocational placements. |

The Institute of Leadership and Management is the UK's largest awarding body for leadership and management qualifications. It partners with over 2,000 ILM-approved centres, comprising private training providers, further and higher education colleges, and employers delivering in-house management training. |

Learning & Skills Council (LSC)
The Learning and Skills Council exists to make England better skilled and more competitive. It has a single goal: to improve the skills of England’s young people and adults to ensure a workforce of world-class standard.
The LSC is a non-departmental public body which began work in 2001, taking over the roles of the former Further Education Funding Council and Training and Enterprise Councils. It is responsible for planning and funding high quality education and training for everyone in England other than those in universities.

Lifelong Learning UK
Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) is the independent employer-led sector skills council responsible for the professional development of all those working in community learning and development, further education, higher education, libraries, archives and information services, and work based learning across the UK. It represents the interests of the 1 million+ individuals working in lifelong learning in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and is the voice of employers in this sector on skills issues.

Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS)
The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) is the new sector‑owned body, formed from CEL and QIA to develop excellent and sustainable FE provision across the sector. LSIS will work in partnership with all parts of the sector to provide vision, leadership, clarity and high quality support; practising and enabling continuous self‑improvement and capacity building.

Protocol National is the UK’s largest supplier of part-time and full-time staff to the Further Education sector. It provides the opportunity for over 60,000 lecturers, assessors, internal verifiers and senior managers to find permanent or temporary positions in Further Education colleges throughout England, Wales and Scotland.
